Simple credits. Honest hours.

Maax meters what it actually costs to listen and answer — transcription, detection, answers, chat, crawling — and charges it as credits at the provider's true cost times four. No seats, no feature gates, no overage.

What things cost

One credit is a tenth of a cent of provider cost, times four.

That's the whole formula. It survives model and price changes, it marks every provider up the same way, and it means you can see exactly where the credits went.

How the meter works

No surprises, by design.

Metered after the fact, per request.

Every call to a provider — transcription, detection, an answer, a page fetch, indexing — is priced at what it truly cost us, times four. Nothing is rounded up per event; the balance shows whole credits.

Two buckets.

Plan credits are set on every paid cycle and expire with it — they never roll over. Top-ups and the sign-up credits never expire. A charge takes plan credits first, then the rest.

At zero, things pause. Nothing is charged.

A request is refused only when your balance is already at zero, so a session never stops mid-answer. At zero, live answers pause, chat and crawls are refused, and the session stops. Buy a top-up or wait for the next cycle — there is no overage, ever.

Change plans whenever.

Upgrades apply at once, with the new allotment; Polar prorates the money. Downgrades take effect at the next cycle. Cancel any time and keep using what you have until the period ends.

Pricing FAQ

The fine print, in plain words.

Something else? Ask us directly.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Every new account gets 3,500 credits — enough for a full website scan and about two live hours. Pick a plan when you've seen it work on a real call.

How did you calculate a live hour?

The estimate assumes both sides talking the whole hour, with about 25 questions answered from the agent. Transcription is a fixed 4 credits per 30 seconds; the rest depends on how much is said. A quiet call, or one with fewer questions, costs less.

Do unused credits roll over?

Plan credits don't: the monthly allotment is replaced on each cycle. Top-ups and the sign-up credits never expire, and they're only touched once the plan credits are gone.

What exactly is metered?

Everything that costs us money with a provider: transcription while a session runs, the detection passes on the transcript, the answers (Q&A matching and document search), chat, fetching pages when you build or refresh an agent, indexing pages and uploads, and the generation of Q&A and context. Managing your agents by hand — editing pairs, deleting pages — is free.

Is there a team or seat plan?

Accounts are personal, with their own agents and their own credits. Teams roll out today by giving each rep an account and the same website to build from. If you'd like to set up several people at once, get in touch and we'll help.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stay usable to the end of the period; credits from a paid cycle aren't refunded once used. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to support and we'll sort it out — refunds are processed through Polar.
